This phone has major issues

This phone worked great for two weeks, then it would just all of the sudden go to bing search engine and freeze up while I would be trying to use it. I have to turn it off and back on only for it to do the same exact thing in like 2 or 3 minutes. It also texts on its own and the screen scrolls all by itself. Do not buy this phone.
Pros: Personal, Business
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Since I've purchased this phone, I have been truly happy with it. I takes AMAZING pictures and the sound quality of videos I've recorded are top notch. Internet browsing is really fast and the sound quality when on the phone is great. Watching movies and videos on this phone is a treat. The screen really pops with fantastic colors and bright vivid images. The office suite is very convenient when I need to get some work done. My only complaints are the lacking of apps and accessories that are available for it.., but to be honest, let's ask the questions. How many apps do you have on your phone and of those apps, how many do you actually use? Accessories from third party vendors work just fine with it tho. I would definitely recommend this phone to a friend.

This is a great phone! The only thing is that everyday, almost, it seems that I am discovering something new. I have never had a Nokia, let alone a Windows phone. And there is so much that this phone can do, it is insanely good! I wish that there were more apps like the iPhone has, but I still wouldn't trade this phone for any other!

Great phone for Computer People

We were computer people looking for a Windows based phone for seamless crossover from computer to phone - this is about as good as it gets. We have had Android based phones in the past but were never satisfied with the learning curve on most phones. With the 1520 its Windows 8 in your hand - totally predicable. The only drawback is the apps for the 1520 are lacking but seem to be improving.
Pros: Both

The Nokia Lumia 1520 to me is a "Perfect" phone. It's big. It's USEABLE. It's not cluttered or weighed down with "Bloat". It's simply Beautiful to me. I will have this phone for a long time. This is my very 1st Windows Phone and I'm hooked. I love the live tiles. I love having everything that I need right on my home screen. No more scrolling through pages of apps like I do on my Samsung Galaxy S4. Video on this phone is beautiful as well as pictures taken. I absolutely LOVE the dedicated camera button. It's got the latest and greatest processor, 2.2GHZ Quad Core Processor. 2 GB of RAM is plenty for me. I have nothing bad to say about this phone. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Spetacular device

Excellent phone. Using this phone for E-mail, reading news on the web, reading Kindle books, taking pictures, using GPS to drive, video chatting on Skype, streaming music on Nokia Music, Office on the go as well as OneDrive to sync my documents with my business computer.
6" screen Full HD is spectacular. Initially I thought it would be too big, but it is not. Phone is big, but experience is good.
My conclusion after other phones is that anything above 4.5" cannot be used with just one hand, so 4,7”, 5”, 5,7” or 6”, for me, are the same.
In addition, Windows Phone take the edge on large screens as back - home - search buttons as well as app menus are at the bottom of the screen, so it is reachable. Most of the time there is no need to stretch thumbs to the top left corner for back or Menus as on iOS/Android.
So, most of the time, phone is user friendly with one hand.
OneDrive + Office Experience (although a simple and limited Office version) is fantastic due to screen. Checking and revising Excel, Word or PowerPoint attachments from e-mails is simply awesome.
Loving it and recommend.

I love this phone -- the OS is elegant and the screen is terrific. Could use a few more apps -- like Watch ESPN -- but as a work phone, it is perfect. Integrates well with MS Office, which is a BIG plus.
Pros: Business
