Microssoft have to create products that we wish to buy, benchmarking can save you

Only 1 day of usage and I am deadly upset.
It seems Microsoft developers do not get out of labs and seek for benchmarks in the industry. This phone has amazing hardware and design, characteristic of what Nokia has accustomed us; however when it comes to SO, is a total fail; a misuse of so powerful hardware, i don't see myself buying this cell only to use facebook and other social apps.
1. The lack of system file manager is the worst idea that could come in these days; i just cant find files i transfer to the phone; i have to put all in the root folder, is it reasonable that i have to mix up files of different interest?
2. I trying to create a simple music playlist but i thing i am too illiterate to play music in this phone
3. No app can browse the phone storage; i would rather wish to be virus vulnerable than this;
4. I only just want to download maps to the so called HERE maps, but it wont let me do that using my data connection and gives me no option to choose whether to continue or not, it only cancels the download. This is another disregard of Microsoft to us (users, customers), and together with the inability of windows 8 to easily share internet connection i am unable to perform the download of maps
5. Please change the way you create your products because some features have become standard in mobile phones, and we pay for them.

Great phone!

This phone is exactly what I needed. It transitions nicely between personal and professional use. The screen size has come in handy when doing impromptu presentations (sometimes while sitting at an airport). The features have left me wanting for nothing. Great product!!

I used before iphone and samsung galaxy but im not satisfied. Now im fully satisfied and enjoying with my phone thanks Nokia and microsoft

Nah, does not play well with others

Across device logon and password change failures, tiles are cumbersome once you put them in place. Ugly interface. Live tiles are a waste of time, energy.

No stylus. No place to store one. It is easier when one is used.
Not sure why, but it's OS, interface, size, or lack of playing well with others, is aggravating to the point of anger. I have walked away from this phone for days and never missed it. If I reached and it wasn't there, my thoughts were, oh yeah, I tossed it across the room. Eh.
I'm in the US and of course our backwards approach to free market means I'm stuck with this or must go to an inferior network to unload it. So, a grand from now, I'll be free. Until then, I'm on bail.
If I may, stay with the companies and software that built the smartphone environment. Now that Windows owns Nokia especially.
I'd rather have a flip phone with a flash.
This Windows line of phones is to obviously tied to their PC OS.

Best smart phone EVER!

I always wanted a Nokia phone they seemed very cool. I was a little worried about App support on windows phones. I did the research and compared it with my Iphone 5S and made the leap to Nokia and windows phones. And WOW Im thrilled and wont go back. Windows 8.1 is awsome on a phone. Nokia makes an amazing device and the battery life makes me wonder why I ever had an Iphone.

Nokia Lumia Smart Phone

I never owned a Nokia phone before and I am ready to upgrade from HTC Radar 4G to Nokia Lumia 1520. I really like HTC Windows phone but for what every reason HTC left out the Radio from Musix+Video on all the HTC Windows phones. For that reason I am switching to Nokia Windows phone. I have been using Microsoft Windows mobiles for past 12 years. I started out with Compaq iPaq 3760 Windows PDA, at that time PDA was just a PDA without the phone yet. My 2nd Windows PDA was Audiovox Pocket PC 6600. My 3rd Windows mobile was Palm Treo 700wx and my 4th Windows mobile was HTC Touch Pro 2 and my 5th Windows mobile was HTC Radar 4G. Nokia Lumia 1520 is one of the best Windows phone so far and Radio is included under Music+Video in Nokia phones.

All I can say is this iphone fan boy is so happy I make the switch. I have hand iPhones ever since they first came out and this Nokia is not only better than an iphone but so much better than anything out there right now. I can't say enough good things about this awesome phone.
