this is a great phone for those who like windows and know their way around it well and have lots of time to convert music to mp3 format.

There are some issues with this phone that I am having a difficult time with.
1. hands free mode is fine in car but cannot play music from my library.
2. Most of my music is mp4 format and has to be converted to mp3 which is a daunting task with over 4,000 songs. and without conversion I do not even see the music in my player
3. The battery life is not that great.

Because of the music conversion issue and limited free apps I have gone back to my old phone and am not a windows phone fan.

This cellphone is equipped with a good camera and thousands of new and usual apps that you need. Nokia. Pro camera is the best app ever and here map is very good as you can download the maps of every where and use it offline.

Do not buy this phone. I purchased a brand new one in March 2014. It began to freeze up horribly within 2 months. I then received another one (refurbished of course), and within 24 hours it froze up completely. I am now on my 5th day waiting for ANOTHER Lumia 1520 in the hopes that this 3rd one in a little over 2 months will last the remaining 2 years of my ATT contract! I had the Lumia 920 before this phone and had no problems. There are obviously major software issues with the 1520. Avoid at all cost or you will be stuck with this make and model for your entire contract.

I love this windows phone, and have no complaints about how it operates. Extremely user friendly, best pictures in the club, outdoors, anywhere. I love how it syncs with my Xbox one easily and my laptop (windows 8.1 pro)
the only recommendation I would make to nokia/microsoft would be to allow the home screen to rotate like the rest of the general apps on the phone

Grand theft auto can kill battery in 2 hours. Aside from battery performance best phone from Nokia so far

best camera on a phone after lumia 1020

equipped with the best camera out there for 20 mp range which only falls second to a lumia 1020, i felt a big difference by switching to this device from my previous android phones, the windows phone 8 interface is fast and responsive. however i'm sad to hear that microsoft is going to change the nokia name to there own brand, which will take out the value of my 1 month used lumia 1520 instantly. i'm never going for another windows phone.
