Front camera starting to display "something went wrong" message a few months after getting it. I follow all the possible solutions posted on this website and nothing works. There isn't even a number to call.

phone is not useful at all! in my opinion it is a hunk of junk and i wish we would have never wasted our money on this stupid thing! no good apps, everything on the phone is all backwards! however if your not into apps or anything of that matter then it does have a great camera and the sound quality is alright.

Not worth it

Its a great phone at first, awesome video and camera, texting works great, the phone as a phone works great. the only HUGE downfall is the apps. you'll think you'll get over it after a few months with the phone, but the lack of apps only shows more and more as you use you phone more and more. some of the basic apps that you would expect, like Instagram and vine, don't work very well (and i believe the Instagram is still in its beta). Sure there are some apps that work to replace the official ones, but they are missing a few crucial apps that aren't even available at all. If you like, have, or are even interested in snapchat, don't buy this phone, for the app is nonexistent on this platform. durability is fine for a few months, but due to the size of the phone, it is susceptible to slide out of your pocket due to its weight. If you do buy this phone you will probably want a case for it to. guess what?? there are very few cases available for this phone. took me about 6 months to find a decent one. another downfall is that with it already being a big phone, the case will only make it bigger, making it harder to put in your pocket, and more annoying to carry around. even though Nokia are notorious for being a durable phone, it still is able to crack and become damaged. the outside color hides damage very well, but once you crack the screen, its game over. the phone, being the size and weight that it is, will be more prone to drop, slide and fall to the ground. It will stand it for a while, but the constant slips that happens in life will ultimately leaving you with a cracked screen sooner or later. Overall, be cautious if you are going to get this phone. its not easy to replace and is quite expensive as well. its a great conversation starter and good for the basics like communication and camera, but if your looking for something that will allow you to stay updated with the latest apps and ease or even use basic one, like i had previously mentioned, look for another product. Windows has not been able to compete with the apple and android when its come to apps, no matter much the push that they are getting better. it may be true, but its happening at a snails pace. by the time they probably get the apps you want, you could have been using them for the year or so with another phone and possibly even the new latest and greatest one that windows hasn't even touched yet. I hoped this helped you in your search for your new phone, remember, this phone is frustrating, and will take time to get used to. you'll be able to manage it while its not cracked, but once it does, things will stop working for no reason and it will be unbearable to work with

Love my Nokia Lumia 1520

I started out with the Nokia Lumia 635 as my first all Windows Phone. I was very impressed with how well it worked. I needed something a little more powerful and more memory so I jumped directly to the 1520. I've had my phone for almost 9 1/2 months now and I'm still learning new things about it. I use my phone for both business and personal usage. It transitions seamlessly from all wifi networks. This phone is packed with so many outstanding features. While the store needs to have more apps that others offer it's still a wonderful phone.
Pros: Business, Personal

By far, the best phone I've ever owned!

This phone has it all and should have a long product life with upgrades and such. The only single design flaw is the battery. Even my 810 allowed me to swap batteries. No worries though - the battery seems fine even after a year.
Pros: Business, Personal

What phone do I get after this?!

The Nokia Lumia 1520 has been with me for a little over a year, and it's been the best phone I've had so far. After you get used to the size, you will have no problems with it. Watching Netflix and videos on the big screen is great, btw! Excellent camera and way faster than the other Windows Phones I've used. The front-facing camera could be improved, but the 20MP camera in the back takes excellent pictures. The only problem I have right now is not knowing what phone to get (that can surpass this one) when my contract is up. Any suggestions?

I'd be happy with the 1020 and 1520 devices for life!

We have owned both the 1020 and 1520 models since they came out, love them! Unmatched cameras, great features, perfect for business user. Nokia knew how to build a phone right up until Microsoft bought them. Unfortunately Microsoft dumbed down all the future models and ruined everything Nokia was, so it's doomed in my eyes, unless MS puts Nokia back in charge. However, these two models are awesome devices, and integrate wonderfully with all MS Office apps, and Adobe, so a businessperson does not need an office, especially with the aid of Live.com and it's many automated synchronization features, allowing all your devices to contain identical data.
Pros: Personal, Business, secure family wifi hotspot, ms office applications, adobe acrobat documents
