I have had this phone since January. The battery is decent, the charge keeps on going down. Not many options for the cases of the phone. There are many problems with this, such as the phone keeps on opening apps at random; such as, always opens up the camera app when I do not need to. The phone has great potential, but lacks what other phones have... the apps. I would not recommend this phone, mainly because there are too many issues that are not updated, since there are rarely any updates.

The ultimate Phablet

The best smartphone/phablet I have ever owned. Very responsive and agile. It takes my 128GB micro SD card and allows me to download tones of apps without any lag. Who needs a tablet when you can own the ultimate phablet. I REALLY like this device.

Don't buy this phone

I got my lumia 1520, 15 day ago. I liked the phone due to its battery life and fast processor (very good for gaming).
Today suddenly the display is gone. I never dropped this phone. When I press the power button, the phone wakes up but all screen is blank and only the windows and back key lightens up. I did not buy insurance and I don't know if the warranty covers the display. I never thought this phone will break without any significant damage.

The buggiest phone i've ever owned

When I first got the phone, I thought it was great. Then time passed, and the bugs started coming out. The phone is bad. I like the large screen and resolution. I hate that you can't change the battery. The phone locks up regularly, in which, sometimes rebooting it won't fix. You just have to wait until it's done bugging out.

The Nokia 1520 was a very good phone until I got the 8.1 update, It is now a great phone! As much as I was excited and satisfied when I purchased the phone, it isn't even close to how much a enjoy the 8.1 upgrade, it really allows the phone to utilize the great screen, camera and power that much more. I thought Cortana was as much a gimmick as anything and cant do with out it now. A awesome combination.
