Great hardware..

Well I'm not so hectic phone user ...but I'm. Happy that I've this phone and there's no many complaints...like my friends do with android and iPhone..I wish I could have win10 full version very soon... Yeah apps do matter... But it's performance that matters most.

When I first got this phone, I loved it. I had no problems with it at all.
About 2 or 3 months ago, my phone would get stuck with no service. I would restart it, and it would come on with airplane mode activated. I couldn't turn it off, but if I restarted it enough, the signal would come back. Now, and for the past 2 weeks at least, it will NOT get off airplane mode. I am getting extremely aggravated, I have done everything I can to fix it, but nothing has worked. I HATE THIS PHONE. It also stopped letting me access the facebook messenger app, rendering this phone absolutely useless. I would never, ever recommend this product to anyone. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

App selection. In particular, apps for the windows phones don't seem fully baked. For example, the amazon kindle app will not let you highlight which is very disappointing. In fairness this complaint applies to windows phones in general.

Lumia 1520 - The perfect size for executives on the move

I have owned a Lumia1520 for nearly two years. It fits neatly into my right trouser pocket and neatly in my left hand. Alternatively, it will sit on the desk and is large enough to permit two handed typing. Using One Drive it matches pieces started on my laptop which I can add too whilst on the move. The Calendar is the right size to see the whole entry. People contacts match those on my laptop. The main disappointment is Microsoft's cloud arrangements that keep truncating contact notes. I have lost dozens of notes on past deals. Thank heavens for Akrutosync which runs off a USB and preserves everything no matter how extensive the data.
Once you have experienced explaining something to a client and can whip out the photos which are just the right size on the 6" display you can never go back to those keyhole phone sizes. Hopefully, the next version of Lumia1520 will include some way of rearranging photos into albums on the phone. Otherwise, I am waiting for the upgrade of the 1520 which is long overdue.

Fantastic Phone

I just love everything about this phone. I have forgotten to charge my phone and have got more then 2 days of active use out of it.
The camera is great and being a windows phone with instant back up of photos you can remove them from your phone if storage starts to get low.
I just can't wait to get windows ten on this phone
