Spectacular phone + The experience you never had before

My last phone was Google Nexus 5 I decided to change my phone and I got the HTC M8 but It didn't satisfy me and after 2 weeks I changed it to Lumia 1520. I should say I fell in love with the device at the first sight, the nice design, perfect hardware and spectacular camera combined with Windows Phone 8.1 made an awesome device. The phone is fast in everything you throw at it. Trust me, It doesn't disappoint you. The only downside of this device for me was the Display, because I was obsessed with Lumia 930 Display with deep deep black and more vivid colors but nothing to worry about because the Lumia 1520 display is fantastic and more vivid than other IPS lCD devices out there. Afterwards it is indeed a perfect device in every aspect.

Big screen with much big disapointment

Microsoft Office on Windows Phone 8 is not as good as the one found in Windows Mobile 6 especially the Excel. Furthermore, the recent update Microsoft Office App for Android and IOS really sent me to the absolute low point of my life on my decision for choosing windows phone at the first place. I feel that we Microsoft product users should get priority for any kind of product updates.

I wish this device could run Android. Don't get me wrong I don't have anything against Windows but this device could have been an all time best if it was released with a more popular OS.

A daily driver for all aspects of life, work and play

I've been in the mobile world for quite some years now and have had a large variety of phones. HTC used to be my daily driver until they dropped out of the race with Windows Phones. So I moved to the Lumia 920 and was impressed. As the 1520 came out last year it was a must have. Initially (as other reviewers have said# the size is daunting and as I first picked it up I began to have second thoughts due to the size. Now having had the phone for 8 months I could not imagine using anything else. The phone is exceptionally fast. Apps load in milli seconds. The battery life is far better than any other phone I've experienced. With moderate use, two and half days before a recharge is required. Some people smile ingratiatingly when I get the phone out but this soon changes when I demonstrate what the phone is capable of #jitter free videos or smooth game play in Aspahlt 8 etc.#. Almost forgot the camera, which is fantastic. All the apps #free of course) put together with the hardware produce a result that can be measured against normal cameras. I'm not a photographer and therefore not an expert. However I only use my 1520 on holiday and the pictures I take, whether low light or even night time are perfect. I only hope that MS keeps up this standard for future Lumia flagships.
