Best smartphone ever made!

Having owned most smartphones including Samsung's phablet range, Lumia 1520 comes on top with regard to quality of built in app for work and communication without the need for third party apps out of the box. Great battery life and high level of personalisation and customisation which truly transforms this beast, size is just great for reading and working on the go! Upgraded my device to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but android is just a flawed system with no security for corporate usage. Until microsoft replace this beauty with the next version, am comfortably back to my most personal OS and incredible Lumia 1520 which usually last up to two days on single charge.
Pros: Personal, Business, education, ereader

A wonderful experience

My adventure with the L1520 started in April2014, and since then I found its use in almost everything I do, like photography and writing articles in Word (as I study journalism), or entertaining activities like listening to music or just playing on my smartphone. I think it is very important for a person who wants to renew himself/herself by buying a Lumia to understand that the simplicity of the OS is that which makes it complex and premium. Of course, there is always something better to add to the OS, some new features, but as long as people claim these changes it means that they are curious and they want more. For example I think it would be awesome if we had (meaning "will have"# some interactive #I don't know how to call it, so it will be "stuff"# stuff on the start screen, something to fill the space between tiles, but in a premium way, like a tiny flash of light walking all the way on the start screen between the tiles #can't explain it in the best way, but I'm sure you already have very interesting ideas about it#. Well...that's about it. I love my Lumia1520.

Great hardware, OS seek relationships

In short, best productivity phone I've ever owned (this is my fifth Windows Mobile/Phone overall#. Cyan firmware and PfD 8.1.1 really flow, Sadé should own one of these #it's a Smooth Operator...see what I did there#. My only gripe: I am an Electronic Systems Consultant, and almost all of my supported manufacturers #Control4, Sonos, HEOS, Savant, Wirepath, etc.# do not develop apps for this wonderful portable Windows platform, which honestly made me consider the iPhone 6+ before sobering up. Hoping the release of Windows 10, with its "Write once and use on all Windows devices" capability will spur more developers to jump on board. If/when there is true parity achieved, there will be zero reason for even considering an alternative, as this phone and its siblings are truly wonderful products, very user friendly #I'm very big into UI efficiency#, and as solid as one could ask/hope for.

Never going back to other phones !!

Its a great phone! Switched from iPhone 5 and theres no reason to go back! Moreover, i've recommended Lumias to 6 other friends and they all bought one (L1320 & L930).
Only a few apps are missing and google ! I love Lumia, I love WP but i use google products too.

it's really great phone

I really like every thing about this phone. Size is not a problem for me and I can easily carry in my pocket. Screen is really nice spatially in sunlight. Camera and it's features are great but if it had 4K shooting mode it would be unbeatable. Build quality is very nice. But in software division I think that Microsoft could rolled out updates much faster and developers usually release their software late or never for Windows phone

The OS is excellent . But, the apps are drawbacks. The quality of apps are really bad.

Pureview CAmera/ Office / Battery And the Performances Truly Rocks...
So Called Beast..
Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 Truly Mesmerizing Capable OS.
Only Problem I Faced is the Slightly heating problem while using heavy apps and games which can be fixed after a software update.
