The phone itself is fantastic. I love the screen size and build quality of the phone. The battery life is amazing and I'm a heavy user. My only issue with the phone is the screen sensitivity issue with random scrolls acting as a touch instead.

Lumia 1520 is the best phone for business

A huge screen, a high quality photo, perfect to replace at the same time phone and portable pc. For those who think that it's too big for a phone, they should just use an SBH-20 Bluetooth adapter weighting a few grams to connect any headphone. What a comfort with such a big screen ! I use a few apps like GTD Flux, SimpiRSS and HandyScan to get the best of it. OneDrive is better with time. I added a 64GB SD-card to get enough memory. And all is fine. What is lacking ? A full featured MS Office and a better mail app to work with my Office 365 ... and a more integrated camera app rather than so many different apps.

There's so much to be said and praised on this phone. Great screen, phenomenal battery, exceptional camera with living images and software, fast and responsive, tons of storage(expandable to 128gb#, wireless charging#if you're not on AT&T), great web browser, I can't say enough about how this phone has pulled my heart strings the way no other phone ever has. Its personal, the live tiles let you know its yours and that its connected with you, no other phone makes me feel like that.
After buying a Note 4, I returned it and came back to this phone for a number of reasons and don't think ill be leaving WP again anytime soon. This is an exceptional product that deserves more recognition than it gets. If you're thinking about it, just do it. Pull the trigger, you wont regret it.
Pros: Personal, Business, photography

An amazing phone that stands the test of time!

This phone came out about a year ago and still stands strong against the competition. I have the 1520.3 variation that comes with all the fixings. Qi Wireless Charging is amazing, 32 GB storage with expandable storage up to 128 GB, 2GB of memory is more than enough to to keep my Lumia running silky smooth. Did I mention the 20 MP camera? My girlfriend loves it and now likes to use my phone rather than her iPhone to take pictures with (a curse and a blessing). Glance allows me to look at my phone without having to turn it on, and Cortana keeps me up to date with all my appointments.

Everything about it is great, the only concern of the lack of the best games of the market such as Plants VS. Zombies and Candy crush.

What makes this a WINNER? It gets the job done.

This is my third Windows Phone. I switched from an iPhone 3Gs to a Samsung Focus when an iOS upgrade basically made my iPhone useless; since them, I couldn't have been happier. Since then, I got a Lumia 900 (WP 7.8 Mango) and now a Lumia 1520.
This has been a robust platform, extremely stable, very, very durable, and gets the job done every time. The camera and associated apps are excellent. HERE navigation is far and away the best; my friends are amazed that I can use offiline maps in foreign countries. The Bing Translation app also has an offline capability that I have used on numerous occasions.
I hear all the time about the "App Gap." Two responses: at trade shows, I use my Office Lens to scan business cards and literature so I don't have to carry anything. Literally every person who did that said their iPhone/Android couldn't do it. "Is it an app?" they would ask. "Yes." I would reply, "Yes, it is. It's a Windows phone app." Then I would demo it and how it updated my OneNote. Yeah... Windows Phone does THAT.
Secondly, regarding the app story, yes, there is some catchup to do with respect to the rest of the market. However, this phone does EVERYTHING I need it to. The apps that I want are there: eBay, PayPal, Banking, Mint, Uber, Stocks, Flipboard, Flickr, and especially the Office Suite including Lync. The bottom line is that it has what I want and for me, that is all that matters (not some pundit who fancies himself a tech guru).
Finally, one criticism, and hopefully the folks in dev will read these comments. The "sizes" of the fonts and controls need some work. Very big in some places and too small in others. A good example is "Podcasts." The font for everything is so big that a good deal of info can't be seen on the screen. However, the controls are so small, I need fingers the size of hypodermic needles to operate them.

A little refinement in the UI is all that is called for right now - at least from me.
