Stunning display with a fantastic camera

The first thing you notice when holding the device for the first time is its large display, and the thin body. The display is absolutely gorgeous, and not to mention huge. It takes a day or two to adjust, but once you do, you will never look back. With the ClearBlack and Assertive Display technologies, at 1080p, this has got to be one of the best screens on the market to date.
The camera is comparable to standard point and shoots as well! You can zoom without loosing detail, and keep it all smooth with optical image stabilization. You will be hard pressed to find a camera on a smartphone this good, other than the 1020, of course.
Speed is not an issue, at all. With WP8.1 and a Snapdragon 800, good luck finding anything but buttery performance.
Overall, the light and thin design incorporated with the innovations with PureView and its display make this device a strong contender in the smartphone marketplace. Love it, love it, love it.

Battery is the best one I experienced.
The only bad thing is its size. I can't work with it by one hand(Typing, web browsing,...) Windows phone needs a method for one-hand use for such devices.

The Best Phablet for the money.

I have been using Windows Phones for some time now. I've owned a lot of them. I even own a Lumia 1020, which I also love. But this 1520 is incredible. I'm able to use the keyboard without issue. But my favorite part is being able to see full size non mobile sites without having to zoom. I always show people the New York Times website (http://www.nyt.com). I also love the battery life too.

I will never own a small phone again

I was a little hesitant at first getting a "boat" for a phone. Now I couldn't see going back to a tiny phone.
All in all this has been a VERY good phone. I would love some work done on Internet Sharing, which at times is hit or miss.
Xbox music is hideous, the earliest versions were actually the best. Scrap it or make it right.
Make the Sim and SD slots different. Pain in my butt.

The Lumia 1520 is my main phone and it has been a joy to use. No product is perfect but the Lumia can do everything I need. Please send me a Surface Pro 3 as a perfect combination

I got the 1520 as an upgrade to the 920 which I used to think was a large phone. Its a change but once you get used to the large form factor it is hard to go back to a smaller phone. Screen clarity is excellent and battery life is very good. Great phone overall.

Excellent phone. Hardware is solid.
I have had a few issues with my display that were taken care of by the Nokia warranty department. I had several white spots on the screen.
I do wish there were more apps, but most of them are there.
