I Love my "Phablet" or should I say FABphone.

Ok, this phone is sooo cool I don't know where to begin. First, GORGEOUS! It is thin light and svelt! This phone is sexy right out the box! And when Cortana starts responding and talking, you instantly fall in love with it! (Not Like that movie though)
The screen is so bright, I dont need a flashlight app!
The pictures, WOW, better than my Nikon!
The battery is good, for a thin as it is, but this thing want the Juice, a standard charger computer, or battery backup just wont due!
I love this phone!

The phone screen is very weak. 3 exchange the same thing happen to every phone. The screen pop off like it so fragile. I thought nokia is durable ? guess their product aren't. The phone program freezes. Multiple time even when left in pockets. My first Nokia and it will be my last.

I went from a Blackberry to an LG Windows 7 phone to what I have currently, the Nokia 1520. You will get a lot of comments about the size of the phone, the screen is sharp and icons are easy to resize. The complaints I have is that when I am running some games, the phone gets really warm on the top) and sometimes if you are not putting it on a sleep mode, it gets pretty warm in your pocket. So just be aware of that. otherwise, great for reading emails and stuff

Awesome for Photography

My primary intention was to take good photographs. I could not believe my eyes after seeing the photographs taken with this phone and that too in the RAW format (DNG). With this format you have got plenty of room for editing either on phone (i use Adobe Photoshop Express) or in Lightroom.
For the phone itself, it does not match with the number of apps iOS or Android has, but hope this will expand. But some of apps built by Microsoft are very good.

A True Nokia Flagship

I come from a humble background of smartphone usage - the only phone I had before was a small, 3G mulitmeida device with so much limited functionality... and I was content! When an upgrade rolled around 2 years later, I decided to go with the the biggest and most souped up device I could find, and that was the Lumia 1520. This phone is an absolute power house! The thin frame sports a 6-inch display that has a high pixel density count allowing for unparalleled resolution, even looking at an angle. Colors pop out, and using it in the sun cranks brightness to the maximum providing for the best readability I have ever seen on any mobile device. The poly-carbonate casing has an inviting feel to it, and the device sits nicely in my hand. Additionally, the matte colors available make for such a nice finish - I chose yellow.
Aside from aesthetics, Windows 8.1 running on the Denim Update changed the game for this device. Everything is fluid, highly-customizable, and intuitive. There is a nice choice of apps, but it doesn't hold up to the libraries of other mobile operating systems; Windows Phone is not the hottest for developers right now. The battery is unlike anything I have ever seen lasting for well over a day of heavy use. The final feature that really makes this device a seller is the 20 MP rear camera and 4k recording ability. Pictures look so crisp and natural, and video runs at a smooth 30 frames per second with resolution that is second to none. Users will love hearing "You took that picture with your phone?" - it is seriously that good.
I have had this device for almost a year now and I am so glad with my choice. The Lumia 1520 is an outstanding smartphone to start off with, and it will only get better with Windows 10 around the corner. Pick this up if you can, you will not be sorry!

the Lumia 1520 is a great device. The 6" full HD screen is nice accompanied by the fact that all the live tiles look sharp and crisp. The same can be said for the color too. The batter life is quite amazing, and it should be, the phone is huge and therefore so is the battery. I cant knock the phone at all. If you want a dependable phone that can easily go without a charge for 2 straight days, look into this phone. Its size may be intimidating but don't let it get to you, this phone is truly great!
