got this as a replacement for an older model. Previous model was 40 years old, so they are built to last! There is a dent in the door at the top, which I didn't notice until after the delivery guys left, but its not worth the hassle to return it. So far so good, its cooling nicely and has dropped 2 lits of ice in 2 hours. The interior is smaller than previous model, and it has wire shelves, its not as advertised with glass shelves.
I would recommend this to a friend!

OK, but a downgrade from previous

This refrigerator was purchased to replace an older 18 cubic foot GE fridge - it's supposed to be the up-to-date replacement. Even though it's the same volume, it seems significantly smaller. I don't know if it's how the space is laid out (it's also a couple of inches taller than the old one) or what, but my wife and I agree that the space is definitely less useable. Also, the old model had all glass shelves, while this one has mostly cheap wire shelves. It is also noisier. And the ice maker often shoots the ice into the freezer compartment rather than into the tray (and it "took a break" and made no ice for a day or so, then suddenly started up again. Don't know what's up with that.) All in all, definitely a downgrade from our old unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect size!

This was the first time we've purchased a refrigerator. This one has not disappointed us so far. We were not sure on the sizing, but it holds everything we need for our family of 4. I like how spacious it is. The ice maker made my life easier by not having to try to remember ice trays everyday so that we could have cold beverages to drink during the hot summer months.
