Overall very pleased. We could not find a model that replicated all the nice features our previous model had, but this was close. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is that the plastic top drawer in the freezer section seems a little flimsy and I feel like I have to open and close the freezer very carefully to prevent breakage. Also, I wish the refrigerator shelves (particularly the split shelf) were interchangeable from left to right. The split shelf only fits on the right brackets and I wanted to use it on the left side. Otherwise, so far so good! It is slightly smaller than the model we had before so we are adjusting to that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Product failed after just two years.

At just over two years from purchase the refrigerator failed. The main compartment could only cool to 50 degrees while set to the recommended 37 degrees. The freezer was barely able to produce 28 degrees with the assist of cooler packs. GE was once a trusted brand name. Based on my experience and an abundance of similar complaints about this product on this website, the failure rate is unacceptably high. I recommend against buying it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First GE Frig

Just got unit 10/31/2024, works fine so far for day one. Did not come with operational manual, found out they are on line, WRONG! Manuals should be with unit so you know that it is the one for it, as well as no access access to get online. Got manual from appliance store. Manual did not show how to change temperature setting on control/display, just where it is and that it is preset at factory.

Nice but can’t handle humidity

It is a really nice fridge though the evaporator freezes up and it just runs and doesn’t cool. Let it warm up and melt snd it works again. Probably fine if you live in AZ. Would not buy again.

Great Space

Just recieved our French door refrigerator and am so pleased! The ice maker inside of the door allows much more space for food storage and I especially like the retracting shelf to give room for taller items!
