We absolutely love the fridge! GE has the most reliable appliances and also should anything go wrong they are the easiest to service in our area. We have no complaints. The price is reasonable and the quality is great. All of our kitchen appliances are GE, even our additional refrigerator in the garage (we have had that one for 12 years now).

Just an Average Refrigerator

The right side door does not have enough shelf choices and the freezer drawer seems very stiff so the door and shelf inside do not move freely. Also, this refrigerator did NOT come with an additional ice tray to store additional ice cubes. You would have to buy it separately for an exorbitant price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
