Water/ice failure

Really like the features and layout. However, the water/ice dispenser has failed within only a few weeks of installation. Not a happy customer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really happy with our GE refrigerator. The ice maker is in the door which gives us more frig space. It produces long lasting solid ice at a great speed. Freezer has plenty of room.

Fantastic GE refrigerator

Our new GFE26JYMFS refrigerator arrived in excellent condition and was installed by the great delivery service guys with no problems. My wife and I love this new frig, it has a beautiful finish and lots of space in both the French door refrigeration area and the pull-out drawer style freezer area. The ice maker works well, and the LED interior lights make it easy to see what you're looking for, that's a big plus for old eyes. This is our 4th GE appliance and in a couple of months a new matching stove will be purchased. We love our GE appliances and have never experienced a failure. But if we do, I feel certain that the GE service rep will be able to get us back up and running quickly. Thanks to all the GE folks for the great jobs you do, it is much appreciated.

It’s not a bad refrigerator, I picked it out without seeing it in person. Not enough space for tall bottles. Ended up taking a shelf out. Also the compartments of the left side door are too skinny. Nothing fits in there. Otherwise it runs great.

This refrigerator is perfect for my wife and I! Keep everything nice and cold the freezer compartment keeps everything solid as a rock! Fits our kitchen perfectly! Unfortunately the one door has a couple of small dents that were there on delivery. GE replaced the the door just waiting for service tech to install.
