Cheap plastic door shelves and drawers

This refrigerator looks great on the outside and the ice and water maker work fine, but the internal door shelves and drawers are make of much thinner plastic than our last Cafe appliance. The sides of our last Café refrigerator also were stainless steel while this model has painted black sides. It is really disappointing to spend so much money on a product with inferior parts. It is also disappointing to know that GE is willing to sacrifice the Café quality to save a few bucks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Scratches and fingerprints

We like our fridge, unfortunately it is a fingerprint magnet. It is always covered in prints. We also noticed that it became scratched almost immediately and we can’t remove the scratches. I’m super disappointed.

Hate this refrigerator!

This is the noisiest refrigerator I have ever owned. I absolutely can't stand it. I wish I had read the reviews online before I purchased it. It seems like this is quite a common complaint with GE refrigerators.

I purchased as part of a Cafe suit, it’s a little noisy, poor ice capacity, crushed ice dispensing very messy.
