I have had this frig for 7 months and have ha the service man out twice once for cirrculating fan replacement and the board locked up

Worked only for 5 months

The freezer and ice maker stopped working after 5 months. I just purchased goceries and lost meats and everything in the freezer. It is under warranty for the 1st year. I recommend purchasing additional warranty as I did just in case it keeps having issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The stainless steel finish still shows every touch and fingerprint and is therefore hard to maintain a clean without constant polishing. I miss a bin for butter, etc., and I find the ice maker on the door to be a bit inconvenient. Wish there was a good way to pull out a bin of ice for parties, etc. The appliance is running well, however, and I like the larger opening on the door to dispense water for coffee makers, pitchers, etc.

I have had two other refrigerators and ice makers don't work and they wouldn't do a thing about it. My new GE one is great!!!
