Design layout good. Ice maker bad.

We love the layout of the unit after 20 years having a side by side. Ice maker is EXTREMELY small. We are empty nesters so we can manage. Not sure how well the ice maker would work for a family of three or more.

We were looking for product with Ice & Water access outside on the door. This one fit our need and because we needed to fit in a certain spot in our kitchen, the dimensions of it allowed us to get it in our home.

Larger freezer and more interior fridge space

The freezer is larger than last fridge and there is definitely more store space in the fridge section

Price was right for the value

I have had this for a couple days. My previous fridge was a Kenmore Elite. This fridge is definitely not top of the line, but for the cost it has great value. I see a difference in the way the drawers glide (not) when opening the bins. And the bin handles are invisible so you have to get used to where they are. It would have been nice if there was a ribbon of some type where the pulls are. But so far, it all works fine and for the price is a good quality fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is not the exact model I actually wanted, the one I wanted was gonna stick out just too far. But it is very similar. The ice maker on the door makes very little ice, but putting the 2nd one in the freezer would of taken up limited space. I previously had a straight side by side and I am regretting my decision to change. The storage on the left door are pretty useless. And the number of storage containers for the right side are too many, or they didn't place the notches in correct spots. You can place them to make them useable but then the bottom one is pretty useless.

Chest type freezer is very convenient
