I love the look of the cafe line

I primarily began looking at this fridge because I love the look. I plan to swap out the handles with brass. The fridge has worked great thus far. We’re purchasing more ge café for the home we’re building. Thx!

Very solid refrigerator

This refrigerator is very heavy duty. The fan can be a little noisy but otherwise it has been good so far.

Operation

The fridge runs and is very quiet. The problem is that I had to change the water filter after only had it for 2 weeks. I just put a new inline filter about 4 months ago. So I bought a bypass filter. Thanks Dale

New Fridge That Works

I’ve only had the fridge for less than a week, so far so good. Coming from a place where your previous fridge died and was 14 days out for a repair buying a new fridge was the best and quickest option. Was this fridge my first choice? No, my first choice wasn’t available for 15-20 days. I took a look at all available products and made my choice from those options. I narrowed down those options from 16 down to two. Why did I pick this one it just felt sturdier than the other option.
So far everything is living up to expectations. Give it a few months and I post again with an update.

Disappointing

The unit’s layout is odd. If you open the right door you cannot open the right drawer. If you open the left door you can open the left drawer. The ice machine is very slow even with the accelerator button pushed. Little cubes as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We got this fridge on recommendation from an appliance store. We had wanted a GE Profile fridge but they convinced us to go with Cafe. It's everything you need a fridge to be and has nothing you don't need. No extra bells or whistles. No touchscreens or fluff. It's solid. Reliable. Well made. Easy to clean. My only complaint is that the labels on the icemaker section for control can sometimes be hard to read in the dark. But I appreciate that not doing that contributes to the clean, modern look.
