Owned for 2 years and disappointed

It’s never dropped a single solid ice cube only crushed ice for cubes we have to empty the tub and save them in a ziploc bag then wait for more ice to make. Now it’s not making any ice at all it only filling with water and staying water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of Bells and Whistles!

I've only had this unit for a month and so far so good. I worry about all the interior plastic, some of which seems a bit flimsy. The icemaker/ water dispenser is handy, but I wonder how well it will hold up. The owner's manual is very minimal and does not answer too many questions. I have been on line to find answers and have had little luck. I would be more comfortable if I could learn more about it. I would probably recommend it to others as it is fairly well rated.

Repeat Water Filter

Hate to post this here - but….we have the same problem as mentioned multiple times above.
1. Display and temperatures randomly change.
2. Water filter changed with a direct GE replacement, only to NOT WORK afterwards. Power cycled multiple times - still not working.
Model: CFE26KP2NNS1 Serial: ZR324606
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We decided to invest in a chest freezer model and are pleased with its capacity and ease of function. The internal lighting is ideal. The unit does, however, create a fan noise often, but we believe that to be a necessity to circulate and regulate the internal temperatures.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor quality of shelves

Every shelf in the frisée has cracked or broke in 2 months. There is only one center bracket that connects to the fridge and the other side slides on a molded edge. Can’t handle the weight and platoon the edge of the shelves cracks and breaks

Please note that shelves should not exceed 50 pounds total weight for full width shelves and 25 pounds for half width shelves. An example of the weight of an average refrigerator item would be a gallon container. It weighs 8 pounds, and a full width shelf can hold 6 of them. A quart container weighs 2 pounds, and a full width shelf can hold 24. We hope this helps!

Enough space, fits a large pizza box, gallon of milk on the door shelf, separate veggie and fruit drawers and meat and cheese. Love the slide back top shelf to easily fit 2 liter bottles and OJ. Freezer has four sections, two shelves and easy to find food. Ice make works well but if your having company I’d start making extra the day before or purchasing a bag locally.
