AFTER LOTS OF SHOPPING , WE FOUND THE GE CAFE TO HAVE THE BEST FEATURES , AND YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH GE.

Must have special filter for ice/water no bypass

I have a house filtration system yet I still have to pay extra money to get water and ice from this refrigerator. I would not have bought it had I known that the ice or water will not even work without a special rfid filter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A filter bypass plug can be installed which allows your refrigerator's water dispenser and icemaker to run without the use of an internal filter. One can be ordered at no charge from us by calling 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET and Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET.

Great Frig

We are thinking that this is the Best Refrigerator we have ever had . My parents always had GE and they lasted forever. We always stuck with other brands until now.
This GE has plenty of room in freezer and frig.
The unit is very quiet and looks great. The features include ice and water which are second to none. So far so good.

Freezing up

Started making a horrible racket. Called in a work order. We had unplugged the fridge due to it being so loud. When the repairman came he couldn’t find an issue. We were told we must have had to much food in it!!! I highly doubt I had to much in the fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost perfect

I really like this fridge with only two exceptions. The ice maker is great. It doesn’t make much noise or take much space. The meat/cheese drawer is wide which is good and bad. It’s nice and roomy but you do have to open both doors to open the drawer. Also, the freezer has about a two inch space between the lower compartment and the door. If something narrow slides off between the two it is gone forever.

Great lighting, cooling and spacious. Ice & water dispenser control panel easy to utilize with outstanding function. Construction, handles & doors upscale, solid & sturdy. Possibly best refrigerator our family has ever owned! Higher price is justified by the quality & ease of use on an appliance which a family will utilize continuously on a household. French doors allow panoramic view of contents while eliminating bending over & digging for food in low difficult to access meat, vegetable & fruit drawers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love our new Cafe refrigerator!! The refrigerator is easy to keep clean, store lots of groceries and cooling/freezing is great!
