We love this fridge!

We love the color, style and details of this fridge. We have extra room for frozen foods because the ice is stored in the door. The ice bucket is easy to take out and replace. It does not make a lot of ice. There is enough for us, however, and so far we haven’t had any stale ice, which was a problem with our last fridge. We’ve already used the collapsible shelf and find it very handy. It’s a quiet fridge too-another plus!

The shelf configuration is far superior to our previous one. Same size, but we can get 20% more in it.
Disappointed with the ice maker/water dispenser. Water in warm and ice cubes come out stuck together, crushed ice makes a huge mess.

I am a loyal GE patron. Our Refrigerator is spacious and has amazing accessibility features. The water/ice in door feature is easy to navigate and works quietly.

Dump your side by side

Seriously, get rid of it. I am old enough to remember the top freezer no water in the door refrigerators, then came the side by sides. Sure, I said. Be fancy, I said. Water in the door, I said. Then started the days of "where are the pickles?" In the back, I said. "I don't see them." Ok, step aside, I'll empty the entire shelf to get to your stupid pickles. Refrigerators are a big expense so I couldn't wait for my side by side to die. It died, I got the French door. It's only been 1 day but I can't believe I suffered with a side by side for all those years. Now, I can open a door and see everything that is in the refrigerator. It's a home appliance miracle!

Awesome Features and Operation

We love our new GE Fridge. Both doors open to give you wide view of everything you have in the Fridge. The Freezer on the bottom has lights and allows for great viewing. The ice and water dispencer works great and I love the crushed ice.

Great Frig, so far

Just had this new frig installed last week, so far, so good. I don't think it is, but it seems bigger than the other one I had. I think because it has lots of door trays than the other one I had, so I can fill them up with all the sauce jars I like to buy.
