I'm not sure it is working correctly. It seems to run all the time and there is a lot of condensation in both the refrigerator and freezer sections.

When I purchased my suite of appliances, picking the refrigerator was the biggest factor. I spent months looking for the right features at the right price in a brand that I can trust and this fit all of those needs. Not having the ice box take up space in the refrigerator section and located in the door was my first must have. I did read reviews that this model is noisy, so I was concerned, but I do not find it to be noisy at all! Perhaps other reviewers are not moving from a 20 year old appliance to a new one like I did?

This refrigerator has plenty of room and is very efficient. GE quality goes a long way! Enjoy the lower freezer and eye level regular food storage.

Very noisy ice maker

Two things about the ice maker: because the freezer is on the bottom, the ice maker in the door causes the interior door shelves to have minimal depth. I can barely fit narrow jars of curry paste in them. When the ice trays fill, it is very noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
