GE Brand not the same

I've been using GE appliances for the last 44 years. Sadly, I had to replace an aging refrigerator that finally failed. Bought this frig hoping for many years of service. Unfortunately, there wasn't one on display to look at. The appliance is beautiful, however, it's interior shelves and drawers are made of a very lightweight, cheap material. The freezer drawer is very clunky and noisy. The water dispenser drips water and there is no slotted drain pan for the water to drain out. Overall, I'm disappointed in this frig and if I could do it over again, I would definitely NOT purchase. th

Huge capacity!

We like the fridge. Very spacious, almost too large. Remove one shelf in order to place gallon milk judge and liter bottle of liquid in the fridge and not the door.

Good appliance, quiet, internal drawers feel cheap

Everything works. It's quiet and gets the job done. However, the internal drawers tend to bind (cold plastic on plastic) if you don't carefully open them just right. It's not worth replacing anything, more of a minor nuisance. However, if it's in your budget to get a higher end model I'd recommend you do so.

I love having the big freezer right in my kitchen, and no longer need a separate freezer. Lot's of room in both fridge and freezer. It does make strange noises, but in reading prior reviews GE did mention this and listed what different sounds are. That is not a problem at all

I would def recommend especially for someone that has an open floor plan and wants their appliances to look good and compliment the whole room. I only wish the ice maker was larger or faster in capacity or production.
