Perfect for our family

Purchased end of February. We absolutely love it. Excellent humidity control. Lots of space. Smudge resistant except for the handles. That's the only thing I'm not keen on. I have kids but wiping some handles beats wiping the entire fridge off. Drawers come out easily for cleaning. Bottom drawer of the fridge holds 48 cupcakes btw
I would recommend this to a friend!

Noisiest refrigerator a lot of money can buy! Sounds like a freight train. Poor ice production and even poorer ice storage capacity

Just installed our new GE Refrigerator/Freezer,Looks Great,Works Great,The last was a LG only three years old. Cost to repair leaking freon would be about eight hundred dollars.Neighborhood GE dealer delivered same day,only one half hour later. Very Happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loudest ice maker in the world. Makes all kinds of strange noises. Repairman said that's normal! Got back from the lake today and the freezer had defrosted. Water everywhere. Ready to throw this in the trash.

Evaporator leak or blockage, just over 2 years

The evaporator has an uneven freeze pattern which is an indication of either a leak or blockage of refrigerant. The repairman leans more toward it being a leak based on noise. In either case, we called GE to ask for assistance under warranty, as this fridge is just over 2 years since purchase and... we were told that only the Cafe and Profile models have a 5 year warranty on cooling. So just over 2 years of use and our fridge is already out of commission essentially.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only looks good does not work

Since we have this piece of junk it is nothing but problems. We has service three times and the fourth service call is on 3/27/15. There are more and more problems as we wait for repairs.

I bought the refrigerator almost a year ago. I have had to call GE service for warranty twice. The GE's customer service is great, but I am not happy about about the quality of the product.

I bought this a few months ago. This is the third unit. The first was damaged, the second did not cool and now this one leaks from the icemaker and is loud.
