It runs a little louder then my previous frig. When quite in house can hear in living area. Not sure if this is normal or will need to have it checked?

Water filters too expensive

Requires an expensive water filter as opposed to other model GE refrigerators. No reason to design so have to biy uncommon, more expensive filter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought 2 of them, no good.

We purchased one, loved the outside look, but it had small baseball size dents in the door, above the ice maker/water filter. We exchanged it for a new one & received the next day. Again it had small dents above the ice marker, then the alarms kept going off, constantly. It drove us nuts. It got to the point of the only way we could silence the constant annoying alarm was to unplug it to get a break from it, then had to plug it back in so food didn’t spoil.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're so sorry to hear that both your original unit and replacement had dents in the doors and that in your new model the alarm was going off frequently and truly understand your frustration. This is certainly not something we would expect to hear and would love to look into this further as this is not the ownership experience we strive for. Stylish and functional

I've only had for 5 days but I love the look and all features so far! Only had to let run for 6 hours before loading fridge and freezer. So far running great. Hope this continues and it proves to be a a quality, reliable appliance.

Avg refrigerator for above avg price. If you want bells and whistles, this refrigerator is not for you. The custom hardware options are what caught my wife’s eye.

Love my new Fridge!

This is exactly what i was looking for to replace my 20 plus year refrigerator. I love the water and ice in door and love that the ice maker doesn't take up space in fridge like other brands do.
