We purchased this refrigerator about a month ago after we retired our old one. After careful research and numerous trips to appliance stores we finally settled for the cafe line refs. It’s simple yet elegant. It has great features, reliable and has overall good value.

We installed this refrigerator several weeks ago and have been very pleased with our choice ever since. The water & ice dispenser work great and the overall design is very functional.

Love the way it looks in my kitchen

I love the way this looks in my kitchen. Ice and water on the door is a little disappointing. Ice flies all over the place in cube or crushed. I had to put a mat down on the floor. Also I rearranged shelves on one foot and it ended up falling to the floor with all that was in there, shattering the shelf itself and all the contents.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve had my new refrigerator for about a months and I love it!! Ice maker in the door is awesome. Lots of room and very well lit. Fingerprints are not a problem with the Cerama stainless steel wipes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too Many Needed Improvements

I had to purchase this refrigerator on the internet. My previous Cafe unit failed unexpectedly and I did not have enough time to shop around. I was surprised to see a lack of features that I assumed were standard. 1- The temperature set points can be seen but the actual temperatures are not displayed (like my previous model. 2- The printing for the dispenser functions (water/crushed ice/cubes) is not that readable. This would not be a problem if the function itself was illuminated rather than just a line beneath it. 3- Doors to not close properly - tend to swing wide open rather than to closed position when released. 4- Some of the door shelves are absurdly shallow and not functional. I do appreciate the "finger-print" proof stainless surfaces.

Thank you for taking the time to review your beautiful Cafe refrigerator. We appreciate the feedback and use comments like this for the improvement of our products in the future. We may be able to help or explain the reason for some of the issues you brought up. First, the if the doors are swinging open, the unit is likely not leveled properly. The front of the refrigerator should be about 1/4" higher than the back to make sure the drawers slowly close instead of fall open.
Also, the shallower door shelves must be like that to allow the doors to close or fully access the drawers in the fresh food section. We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any questions.
