good looking fridge

I have been using this refrigerator for about 8 months now. It functions well however it is made entirely of plastic and feels like it is going to break in some way each and every time I open one of the doors or drawers on the inside. The water/ ice dispenser is on the outside door which is very convenient, unlike the previous model I owned. However the water drips from the dispenser and leave permanent marks one the plastic floor if not cleaned up immediately. When using the ice dispenser you need to remember to hold your glass or container right up near where the ice comes out or you have ice pieces and chips flying everywhere. I like the feature of the bottom freezer, but feel that it does not hold all that much, probably because the basket is slanted in the back taking away valuable storage/freezer space. All in all, I am disappointed plastic construction of this appliance and the amount of storage room in the freezer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We got this just before Christmas, and we've loved it so very much. The delivery company scratched the faceplate and GE was fast and courteous in replacing the piece. Great fridge and great company!

We buy ice for ice maker and it freezes and won't come out. It took 2 month or longer to get the left door replaced due to a scratch above ice maker and on ice maker cover. They brought 2 that were damaged worse, had to wait for 1 from factory came out 3x. Not enough space in freezer. When technicians set up they turned it on did not tell me they did not set up inside 2 hrs later I open it and all the blue tape was still inside and cold took 3 hrs to get it off and ready to put food inside.
Once purchased appliance store did not seem to be in a hurry to get it fixed, technician that came out both times was really nice and aplogized. Should have been offered a discount..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Brand new--problems

Brand new in a new home and lasted a week and has an error code. Only thing its capable of is getting cold.

Works well

This was a replacement for ge similar model that I purchased 2009. I love the ice maker in the door. The freezer drawers are thin and not as well made as my old frig. Overall it works well, doesn't leak under deli tray, ice/water dispenser is large enough to fit a pitcher under and a nice looking frig.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks so much bigger

I received this refrigerator as a replacement for warranty. It looks so much larger than my old fridge. The spacing and shelving is so spacious and the placement of the ice maker on the door, is so much more convient and leaves more shelving space for use. The only complaint I have is the ice door gets stuck, not sure if it's because the ice gets in the way or what. Other than that, I love this series.
