Bought to replace same size refrigerator/freezer. Internal shelving in freezer and refrigerator does not reflect quality of the three previous freezer/refrigerator units bought over the past 48 years. It is an okay product that will serve it's purpose. No light in freezer unit, and door shelves are not adjustable. It is obvious as a loyal GE person for 48 years the don't make them like they use to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this on July 17. The first was defective so it had to be returned. The motor is extremely loud and that is a real issue.
