Purchased my refrigerator in May and a button on front of the door is off and looks like putty in hole , edges are zaggered. Afraid I might cut my fingers when cleaning
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best looking budget top freezer refrigerator

Had operating about a month. Like having no grill on the bottom, Large smooth beautiful comfortable stainless and chrome handles, Taller refrigerator area easier to see into and deep recessed freezer bottom- very efficient use of space, Nice deli drawer and dairy compartment, Flat finish dark grey sides match better and doesn't detract from stainless look, than the light grey gloss of competition, large for size veg, fruit drawers, compressor can stay off for 45 minutes even when not defrosting. On the needs improvement, the two glass fridge. shelves should be 2-3 inches deeper, there is room for the door shelves even then, And the ice maker bucket has a large notch in the left rear for the electrical and ice cubes can fall out . And the ice maker locked up once when cubes stuck on top of mold, and it makes weird refrigerant loud squealing noises sometimes and is loud for a medium size refrigerator. I am very satisfied that GE produced this outstanding beautiful perfect size for my home appliance.

Good looking, great quality

Fridge has a great look and a lot of room. It runs quiet and it's easy to clean. It is a great value for the quality. The only drawback is I ordered stainless steel, and only had a front view image of the fridge. When it arrived, I was disappointed that the sides were black, and only the front was stainless. But still, overall a decent purchase.

I love the stainless steel look with the chrome handles..makes it look more expensive than it was! Ice maker keeps the ice bin full which is a major plus for me!

This came with our new house and it came with an icemaker. I like it for what it does, freeze and refrigerates. Although the freezer has slight condensation on the corners, the GE support staff informed me that it was because of the ice maker when it slight warms up to release the ice. Its nice and small perfect for me and my wife who cooks a lot and frequently buy fresh groceries.

best replacement for what i have been used to

the size and color are best match for my kitchen which I have been used to for over 20 yrs, thanks for keeping such a useful but not a huge appliance that I just need for my needs, including the icemaker, though the freezer compartment is smaller what I had before, but I can get used to it, makes me not have too much frozen product for too long to rotate out....
