This is a simple, light-weight, old-fashioned mixer that does the job! I discarded my huge and bulky Kitchen-Aid mixer for this dream of a mixer. I bought another for my Mom! I highly recommend it.

We bought this mixer to replace the one we have used, and used, and used since my wife received it as a wedding shower gift. We have been married for 45 years and with four children, my wife being a cake, pie, cookie and bread maker, our old mixer had more use than most commercial units. So far the new Heritage model is a repeat performer.

Ordered this mixer for my wife she says she loves it her other sunbeam mixer she's had for years stripped some gears now she has a new one and her smaller bowl works with the new one. She gave it a good workout for Thanksgiving now Christmas is coming so it will be tested once again 2 thumbs up from this family

Nice mixer. I made all my Christmas cookies with it. I got the indigo blue-my favorite color! Problem: Why does this not come with the small bowl? If you're buying a mixer, it should come with both bowls. I should not have to buy this separately. Also, of course, my old Sunbeam bowls don't fit. You had to change the design just enough to force me to spend more. Otherwise, love it.

I had an old Mixmaster that lasted over 70 years but finally died. The new one does well with thick batter, and hums along. The only thing I would like better is to have a heavier mixing bowl as the stainless seems too light and moves up and down during mixing and scraping.

I have always used Sunbeam mixmasters. I have found them to work extremely well. This model works well, but the bowls are not oven safe which is very disappointing. I whip potatoes and squash in the mixer then place them in the oven to keep warm. Now that is not possible. Also, the beaters are smaller than my previous model. I find the new feature of the lock button for the head unnecessary and annoying. The whisks are a great addition.
