I used my mixer for the first time today and I was mixing cookie dough and it just kept pushing everything to the sides and up. The bowl did not rotate. I was very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for contacting the Sunbeam® Brand. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We are sorry to hear that the Sunbeam® Mixmaster® Stand Mixer did not exceed your expectations. This is certainly not the experience we want you to have.
When this happens, it could be that the dough is too heavy. The amount of batter being mixed is too large. We suggest decreasing the amount of batter used.
When attaching the turntable, make sure to place the revolving turntable into the base of the stand by pressing the turntable into the center hole of the adjustable slot until it snaps into place.
When adjusting the turntable, the turntable must be adjusted depending upon which bowl size is being used. To adjust, press down on the Turntable Bowl Selector Switch and slide the switch to the proper icon.

Product Liability Claim Waiting To Happen!!!

Cheap! Do not waste you’re money! The metal clips engineered to lock the mixers in place are poorly manufactured. Had no idea they broke off, until I started eating my dough.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Received this Sunbeam Mixmaster as a wedding gift over 54 years ago! Still working and more reliable than my husband.

Beaters that will not stay in the hand mixer or stand mixer may be a sign the plastic gears that hold them in place are broken.

Worst mixer ever!!

I bought this mixer with a Christmas gift card and I am so disappointed with it. I used it two times and the mixer broke off of the stand and now I only have a hand mixer. All plastic parts. Not worth the money.
