Not happy that it doesn’t have wire whips and none can be found to be purchased. With those I would give it 5 stars. The packaging information showed there are wire whips for this model. This is of importance to me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Sunbeam Mixmaster Stand Mixer was a gift from my daughter. My old mixer finally gave up and I really wanted another Sunbeam even after reviewing available info on many other brands. I am extremely pleased with the performance of my new mixer and would recommend it over any other mixer on the market.

The mixer works well. Critique: The bowl on the spinning plate, spins quicker than previous models and the manufacturer should correct this on making future models, but it will get the job done. There are different speeds which can control quicker spin but I can use my hand to slow the bowl more as needed. Nice glass bowls & beaters.

This stand mixer replaces my 45-year-old Sunbeam. I love the 2 glass bowl sizes and that the beater/motor portion detaches from the base for storage and for whipping potatoes, cream, etc. in other containers. I accept, but am not thrilled with the:
taller & heavier large bowl,
housing being plastic, not metal, and
absence of the speed descriptions with the numbers on the control knob.
However, the plastic button on the bottom of one beater (presumably to make the bowl turn during mixing) should be flat, not indented, for easier cleaning.
I hope this one lasts even half as long as its predecessor. I've only used it once so far, on a cake mix.

VERY disappointed. This is cheap plastic, not "metal" as described. It is so flimsy and the beaters are thin and cheap. I'm guessing it's China made.
Delivery was ridiculous - almost 4 weeks to get. Don't waste your money but research and buy something better.
