I have always been pleased with Sunbeam. I've tried Kitchen Aide but they just dont last for me. My mixers run 5-6 days a week.

It does not hold a candle to the other sunbeam mixmasters from the past. I have had three over my 47 years of marriage. I now use it more than ever since being retired. The glass bowls are really heavy...they are not fire king and the deal to make the mixer to go on the stand is terrible. To much to push and shove. Sorry your hopeful improvements are not good! So far it works which is a good thing but.....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This mixmaster is exactly what I was looking for. Sadly, I was not able to finish making the initial loaf of bread. It stopped working on the first use. :-(

Performs satisfactorily but lacks the power of my previous one. Otherwise it seems to be fine. Don’t use it often but so far it has performed as needed.

It does not cream well. Misses getting mixture that is in center of the bowl. You have to constantly use a spatula to try and mix. I have not made a good cake since I got it and have been making every week for 30 years. Have always had Sunbeam and loved but not this one.

I was very disappoited that it only came with 1 bowl, I used the smaller bowl all the time. It is made with a lot more plastic than the one I had before. The power seen good, just hope it hold up as well as the last one I had.

Only slight differences in this one and my first, and only other one, from 1976. I loved that one. It was difficult to get rid of it after 43 years of constant use. I appreciate my new one and look forward to making thousands more cookies but this time for my grand-kids.

The power does not change from setting one until you get to at least 6 or 7. The body feels cheap and rickety, especially when you raise the head unit. My old Mixmaster, 80's vintage, is much more solid and powerful than this one. I like that the bowls are deeper, though. But this one will remain a poor second choice, a backup machine at most. At least it was cheap.
