Continuously have to scrape side of bowl to get mix to the middle otherwise the beaters dont touch the batter.

Not nearly as good at mixing as the old ones!

I don't have a problem with some of the changes since the Model 10 - the cheaper material, the safety lock for raising/lowering the head. What is a real shame is that the basic function (mixing) works so poorly. The Model 10 and all the others before and after consistently mixed ingredients requiring little scraping. Now, scraping alone is not enough. You have to stop the head and use a spatula to hand stir the ingredients that stay at the bottom. And do that every time you add something else. Why would you try to re-engineer something that performed so well and make it work so poorly? I'm sure it's related to shape of beaters, bowl, and where the beaters get positioned in the bowl. It works miserably with either large or small bowl. I am sorry my Model 10 died a couple of months ago.

Help!!! It quit!

I have used this Mixmaster infrequently for 5 years, but when I last turned it on the motor would not engage. The light came on, so it was getting power, but it would not start. My state has no repair center. Any suggestions to get it working again?

I bought my mixer about a month ago, I used it two times, the dial for speed is hard to turn, I’ve had to use both hands. I bake a lot, I do not have the time to stop other projects and turn the speed!

Had to replace my old sunbeam mixer after 28 years. New model is great. I love that it is removable to a handheld. My only complaint is glass bowls are a bit heavy and I wish they had more colors.
