I bought a Mixmaster Stand Mixer and a Sunbeam hand mixer about a month or so ago. I love both of the mixers! They are beautifully, sleek styled. I enjoy the speed and the extra tools for light whisking and bread dough hook! I look forward to years and years of service from them and then I'll hand them down to my granddaughter. I bought this to replace my 30yr old sunbeam mixer and sadly it cannot compare to my old one. It's not nearly as nice, no comparison. I still have my old one hoping to get some where to fix it

We had to replace our 30-year-old Sunbeam mixer because beaters are no long available. The new one looks nice but construction is not so good, especially the hinge system - very cheaply made.

I have owned sunbean mixers senced the 80"s. I love them. This one has a bowl big enough to mix 3 boxes of mix at one time. Love them

I bought this as a replacement for my 1st Sunbeam Mixer that I had for over 30 years. I still use the mixer the stand broke. I am not to thrilled with this new model. The bowl does not spin as freely or not at all, there is no light and the mixer does not come off the stand. Tried making oatmeal raisin cookies and the bowl kept jumping (yes, it was in the correct position) and the motor got hot. I don't think it will work well enough to mix/knead bread dough. However, for the price it works well enough.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Shipping was great, flyer said there was a lid for bowl , none in my box. The motor is strong but noisy, the base is plastic as well as mixer casing,. I did use it for holiday prepping, worked well. The price was fairly inexpensive, you get what you pay for.

I've had Sunbeam since the 1950s. The last was a very HEAVY metal silver one with stainless bowls--hated it. I pinched my fingers always, I never got the beaters in the holes to hold, and the swivel bottom broke 2 months in, the bowls were hard to clean and things stuck to the sides when beating, and it was just noisy!
THIS ONE is very light weight and at first thought, great, made in China, must be flimsy junk. BUT, the glass bowls are like the originals, heavy, turns on their own, shaped taller to prevent splashing, and helps me hold them to pour easier. It's very quiet, and the top comes off to be a hand beater -- FANTASTIC, easy to take off and put on--no pinching.
My only negative is that it's about an inch taller than the previous one, so I have to tilt it a little to push it back in the ancient corner cabinet "garage" but that's not a real complaint!
