Boost button jammed first use

Very disappointed when I go to use it and try out all the speeds, push the boost button and I hear a crack and now it only works on full speed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How do I remove the bowl?

This is my first stand mixer and I was so excited to use it. After a few trials and errors I figured it out but I cannot remove the bowl from the turntable. Is there a release button? Thanks for any help you may give.

To remove the bowl from the turntable of the mixer, please follow instructions below:
1. Once you have selected the bowl you wish to use, move the turntable bowl selector switch to the proper setting –the large bowl icon if you are using the large bowl; the small bowl icon if you are using a small bowl.
2. Gently rotate the bowl counterclockwise until it drops into position or is sitting flat (A). Then rotate the bowl clockwise to lock into position (B). The bowl should feel firm with no movement.
NOTE: Mixing bowls should NEVER be used in a conventional oven, microwave oven, on top of the range or on any other heated surface. If mixing bowls are scratched or chipped, do not use mixer.
If the bowl will still not come off, it would be recommended to get assistance from another individual or a service center in your area or give us a call at (800) 458-8407. Thank you!
Mixmaster stand is not heavy & easy to lift and carry. The glass mixing bowls are extremely heavy & very clumsy..Difficult to lift & pour batter.

The beaters would not lock in place. They dropped out as soon as the mixer head was lowered onto position.

Would love more if bowl would spin

I received this mixer last year for Christmas and really do like it however the bowl will not spin no matter what I do. Not sure how to correct the problem
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awful!

I purchased this mixer on November 5, it wS delivered by the 9th. I made 2 batches of flood icing for cookies and tonight I attempted to make a batch of divinity, that is until the mixer started smoking and stopped working!

This is a very cheap model. I am not happy with the product. It falls off the spinner when you have it on a high speed.

I am not enjoying my new Sunbeam mixer. I have used Sunbeam mixers for many years. I am a senior citizen and recently dropped and broke my large mixer bowl. Since it was probably 10 years old my husband suggested I buy a new one-which I did. The bowls are twice as heavy as my old ones. I can hardly pick up the large one. When I try to cream butter and sugar for cookies the mixer puts the mixture on the sides of the bowl. I have to constantly scrape sides of bowl. There are other features I'm missing also.
Is it possible to buy a new large bowl that will fit my old 10 year old mixer?
