Stopped working

My mixer only last less than two years and it was used less than 15 times. Very disappointed because my mother had a Sunbeam mixer for more than 20 years and was used weekly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If only it rotated correctly!

I really like the mixer except for the fact that it does not rotate the bowl well. It is supposed to increase rotation with the increase in speed; however, it stops rotating. This is very frustrating!

Thank you for sharing your review! On the stand mixers all turntables are free-wheeling and must be turned by hand. The bowl spins on a freely spinning base by the nylon tip of the cone shape beater. I had a sunbeam mixer with 2 glass bowls years ago.That would mix ingredients up like nobodies business.I deceided to try this model,either the motor on my older sunbeam was more powerful,or they do not make them like they use to.So far the mixer is not bad,just have to remember,It is not my old mixer.

Used for first time today and will return it tonight. I was making a simple cookie recipe and it wobbled and I had to hand mix everything after it was done. I so wanted to love this mixer!

This is the second Mixmaster my wife has purchased for me as a gift. Both purchases were to replace my original Mixmaster, Heritage series. My original Mixmaster had locking bowls, with synchronized bowl and beaters. This most recent Mixmaster is clearly marked on the box "SYNCHRONIZED BOWL & BEATERS automatically increases and decreases speed with adjustment of the control knob" looking at the features listed here on the website, that is not a feature of this mixer. Without the synchronized bowl, and having a free spinning bowl, offers poor performance when mixing. Very disappointed.

Sunbeam Heritage Series Stand Mixer

Not Happy! I have always loved the Sunbeam Heritage Mixer, but mine burnt out so I ordered a new one. It is not level -rattles my whole island on medium setting. The bowl feels like it would fly off the turntable.
