Small bowl missing

In the middle of mix & needed a small batch of eggs mixed . The bowl was to large for the mixture to contact the mixing blades.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This mixer burned up on the first use when making divinity. So wish I had my moms old one from the 50's. Very disappointed.

Have an older Sunbeam Mixmaster that I love and for my daughter's 50th birthday wanted her to have one too. The only differences between the new & old one is hers now is orange and mine is the standard white and I have glass bowls and hers are metal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got a sunbeam about 40 years ago..lasted about 25 to 30 years..got a second one maybe 10 years ago..got 2 bowls, dough hook and wire beaters, wasn't as good as my first..but still fairly decent..worked fairly good..but this last one is a piece of junk to put it mildly..only one bowl, and just dough hook..bowls don't lock, nor do they spin..this one can't even cream soft. Cream cheese..and like another mentioned, not much difference in the low speed or the top..taking it back, if I have to spend $100 on a mixer..Will spend 75 to 100 more and get me a good one..the quality has gone so far down hill.

I was given this mixture as a gift was happy when I open the box. After only 3 uses for making Rum cakes, the motor no longer works when i turn it on. You can see the light indicating mixture on. I don't have the heart to tell my staff it's broken.

VERY POOR DESIGN!!!
If whipping egg whites is your goal, this product stinks. The beaters don't even come close the the side or bottom of the bowl (see picture of LARGE piece of plastic on bottom of beater), so it takes between 5-10 minutes to beat egg whites to peak (at least 10x longer than my last blender!)

I HATE this mixmaster for several reasons. I, too, thought I was buying an upgrade. 1st one like this died before I even used it twice, so Sunbeam sent me another. :-) BUT, now that I really tried to use it, I find: 1. The bowl doesn't turn to help incorporate the ingredients. 2. It will not convert to a hand mixer so you have to continually push the ingredients into the beaters. 3. Beaters clank (hit each other) as they turn. What a waste of money. I forgot why it continued to sit on a shelf, taking up space till I tried to use it to make fondant icing. It will be going to good will, maybe someone else will LOVE it...but I doubt it.
