I love this machine

this machine makes the best dough, I make pizza and bread dough all the time, it comes out the fluffiest dough I have ever seen. It is strong enough to plow through heavy dough and very quiet. I absolutely love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This mixer was gifted to me by a friend as a way to encourage me to begin a cottage cake business....well 602 cakes(bespoken individual over the top design cakes and day cakes) later and many mousses, trifles cookies muffins and cobblers just to name about 1000 things...and 3 years this mixer has far exceeded my expectations.. Today at the very end of my mixing a favorite almond buttercream icing I think I stripped the motor gears...on my way out to purchase another one have 68 cakes to bake this week alone!!!!. Excellent mixer for a feasible cost...

Really love this mixer

I love this mixer, the only thing I wish they would make it in metal instead of plastic and in fun pastel colors, like pastel blue, or pink. would be gorgeous. this is the best mixer ever. great for making bread, cookies, and the whisks do an excellent angel food cake, had it for over two years now and would buy again.

Excellent Performance/Questionable Validity

The user manual states this mixer comes with a small metal bowl, small beaters, and a snap on bowl lid, as well as the accessories listed in the description . No such products are in the carton. No exemption is listed in the manual. This mixer does an excellent job mixing, but it needs its full accessories to validate the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not the Sunbeam mixer they use to be

As the previous reviews, I thought this mixer would be top of the line. My beaters also clank when using. Not the power and quality I had anticipated from Sunbeam. Was disappointed it doesn't come with a small bowl. You have to purchase it extra.

What a disappointment!!!

It's already been said: It's not the Sunbeam quality I used to know and rely on. In fact, I now go to garage sales looking for the "old" ones because they still out-perform this one. I bought this one because the one I'd been using for the past 20+ years finally died. Paying the extra for this new one wasn't worth it. Then, when I looked up the local repair shop, referred by Sunbeam on their website, the customer service reviews were so bad that I decided to try and fix it myself. When I got into it I found that the teeth on the heavy plastic/nylon gears turning the beaters had melted. Pretty sad that one batch of home-made divinity would do that. I used to make divinity a couple of times a month with my old one. It's now been over 90 days and I know by trying to repair it myself that I've probably voided the warranty, so I guess there's no chance in getting a refund (I wouldn't want to replace it with a new one). Save your money and look elsewhere! Hey Sunbeam, if only your gears were made out of metal - this may be a high quality, reliable product.

Long lasting quality, amazing results!

I've had my mixer for about 4 years now and have made dozens upon dozens of cookies, cupcakes, cakes, mashed potatoes...you name it, I've made it. My only wish is that it had a whip attachment for egg whites as I'm using the bowl from this machine and a hand mixer to whip egg whites then moving it back to the stand mixer for adding ingredients for French Meringues. Other than that it's a fabulous machine with lots of power! I'm tempted to get a KitchenAid as a second mixer for the intricate recipes but I love this machine so much with all the features like the tilt head, 2 beaters, swivel bowl and 12 speeds. It just can't be beat for features and price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is easy. For 1/3 of the cost you get the exact same quality as kitchen aid brand that everyone talks about. We had our first one for 8 years and it died so we bought this again. Worth. Every. Penny.
