This is my second Sunbeam Mixmaster. I had the first one for over 10 years. The motor works great but it stopped rotating on its own. I would still use it but it is difficult for my mom to use so I updated. Love it!

it seems that there are no choices out there when looking for a mixer. This is one great choice. It's easy to use and works well. This is especially good for people that don't need all the fancy gadgets that other models have.

I have been using Sunbeam all of my baking life and I am now or soon will be 71. My husband bought me a Kitchenaid and I say save your money. They are ioverpriced and the hype is just that hype , they are not worth the money. Yes they keep making improvements but can anyone afford to buy such an expensive mixer every year. First it was the scatter sheied, then the rubber edged beater , because the original beater did not reach the edge of the bowl and you still had to scrape, now they have changed the shape of the bowl to better mix. Stay with Sunbeam they do the job right the first time and I love love love having my small bowl and large bowl too. so wonderfully handy. For the price and reliability you can't beat Sunbeam

Missing parts

I ordered this mixer but it is missing a beater and dough hook and I can’t seem to get anybody on the phone about the missing parts so I can’t give a good review as I haven’t been able to use it

I absolutely love this mixer. My husband bought one for me a couple years ago, and I love it so much and use it so much, I bought one for my mother. I was actually the first one to use it while visiting her recently, and it's just as good as the one I have at home. Definitely recommend!

I owned a Sunbeam mixer similar to this model for over 15 years, and finally the wheel that turns the bowl quit working. So, when I ordered this one, I thought it would be the same quality. It is not! The batter stuck to the sides of the bowl and to the beaters, and the beaters hardly touched the bottom of the bowl. Plus, when I added ingredients, the bowl actually started to pop up out of the rotating wheel. This is not the quality mixer I expect from Sunbeam, and I am returning it to the store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
