My mother-in-law and I together looked for a mixer for her. She loved the color when she saw it online. HOWEVER, when she opened the box, I thought she was going to have a heart attack-she was so shocked to see such a bright orange. She was
adamant that I return the mixer and said she would like white instead. Only when I promised to do what she asked did she calm down. She was a bit upset with me even tho I only ordered what she wanted, I'll be glad when she realizes I was only trying to help.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is for my mom who loves to bake. She had gotten a Kitchen Aide a few years ago but was not happy because she couldn't scrape the bowl while it was running. So, now she can! I really can't rate the machine as it is new. So far, so good.

I have owned Sunbeam mixers for decades and they have always performed. This one is no exception. I also like that is is lighter weight and breaks down so I can store it in a cabinet. I prefer not to have appliances that I don't use all the time out of sight. The glass bowl is a little heavier than I'd like but not a deal breaker. I salvaged a stainless bowl when my last mixer didn't survive being pulled off the counter by a toddler and was thrilled to find that it fit the new one. I'll have the best of both. I am particularly pleased to be able to add the dough hooks and whips, which my last one didn't have.

I have had this mixed for 2 years. I make cakes, frostings, and bread doughs. This machine makes it easier for me in that it saves me time in my prep and I can move on to other food items. I'm very happy.

Do not buy this mixer!

I bought this mixer a few years ago. I was still using an old one from my mom. I took the mixer out the other day to start some holiday baking. The motor burnt out. Very cheaply made. Do not buy this mixer .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How do I get a refund

I bought this sunbeam mixer about 6 months ago and have used it only a handful of times. Each time we have used it, we have struggled to attach the beaters in the slots, there is a faint grey symbol showing which beater goes in which hole, but no way of showing how they fit into the hole. The slots are only able to be seen if you rotate the mixer upside down and look inside, which is very hard to see. The beaters have a tiny bit of plastic at the top of the metal pole, im guessing this is where is slots into. These plastic bits are too big/loose so when we try to attach the beaters into the machine, they stop them from going further up and all the way in.
The qaulity of your products in the passed have always been great value and lasted our family many years, this is why we are dissapointed in this purchase.

Its ok

I received this a few years ago for Christmas. Its ok as long at its not a thick batter, which makes me sad because I wanted it for bread making. Now the attachments are rusting and I can't seem to find d replacement for them.
