Nice mixer, nice value

I really enjoyed using this mixer. It's very handy and easy to work with. I really like the free spinning bowl and the ease of adding ingredients as you mid. While this is not as heavy or powerful as some of the commercial stand mixers in the market it's plenty powerful for most mixing jobs and it's much less expensive. It's easy to clean and store. The only thing I really didn't like was the button for raising & lowering the top. It's hard to manage smoothly. I've used this mixer for cake batter, whipped cream, mashed potatoes and bread dough and it managed all of these tasks easily. It's a great product,, especially for the price. As a disclaimer, I received this mixer as a demo product for testing, but I'd be comfortable spending the purchase price.

Easy to use and stylish too! I enjoyed using my mixer during a family party, made it easy to prepare large amounts of food and clean up as a breeze. I also like the size which is perfect for counter or cabinet storage. Looks great and I would recommend!

Dough hooks

I got my mixer(model# 2397)as a gift a few years ago and still works like the day I got it. But now I can't find the dough hooks, I guess I have an older model but I don't want to but a new one just to have the hooks. Where can I find them if not on this site? Anyone?

I bought this to replace an older one i had. This one was not made out of metal. I wish i would have had gotten the heritage series. But this is very powerful, love the power boost.

hi Sunbeam,
I bought this machine from a friend and just used it to make banana bread. I like it and it seems to work just fine, including the bowl turns as I'd expect. Not sure what those are talking about that says it doesn't turn! Anyway, I can't get the righthand (square) beater out and I can't find anywhere on the web that explains how to get it out. Please help!!! I would expect it to be intuitive and the other one did come out... how do I do it?? Anyone feel free to jump in and let me know!
