Fondue Party Time

I have absolutely fallen in love with the Oster DuraCeramic Titanium Infused fondue set. We have used the set for cheese and chocolate fondues during birthday parties and NFL Sundays. The recipes that are included within the booklet are simple and taste great! The fondue set is easy to wipe clean once you are finished and small enough to store in a drawer. My only complaint would be that the cord should be longer in length but other then that Oster has done a great job with this product. My family, friends and I will be able to enjoy quick and easy fondue appetizers or desserts time and time again! Note: I did receive this product as a sample to test and highly recommend it.

Overall great fondue pot

Overall the fondue pot worked really well and my friends and I had a great time both some chocolate fondue and some broth fondue (healthier than the oil option!). The manual offered some other uses for the pot that I wouldn't have thought of. I was shocked to see that the main pot is fully submersible which is rare on small appliances.
Pros:
- Heats up very fast and maintains heat well without burning
- The ceramic nonstick is really easy to clean
- Main pot is fully submersible!
- Quick disconnect helps prevent accidentally catching the pot and pulling it off a table or counter but make sure to remove the temperature dial before washing.
- Skewer rest is removable for easy cleaning or if using the fondue pot for a soup or something similar

Fun, Fast, Fantastic Fondue!

I must preface this review by saying I am an absolute beginner when it comes to fondue. I've been to the Melting Pot a few times and that's about it.
Having said that, this fondue pot far exceeded my expectations because it was so versatile, easy to use and cleaning it is a cinch. I did a couple courses one night (basic cheddar cheese and the "nippy franks" recipe straight from the manual) and it was easy because clean up took such little time that I didn't feel rushed.
There's a removable plastic ring on top of the pot to lean forks on (comes with 8 forks) which is a nice feature to have. Also as I mentioned, the pot itself is super easy to clean because of its stick resistant coating.
I stuck with recipes straight from the manual that came with the pot and was still super impressed with how many types of dishes you can use it for: appetizers, main courses and desserts. Of course you can melt cheese and make chocolate and cook meats but you can also do things like fried strawberries and a few other surprising foods!
Overall I was impressed with how straightforward and easy to use/care for this fondue pot was, even for someone who is a kitchen novice. Definitely feel like this has upped my cooking game and introduced me to a fun new way to prep old favorites and new taste adventures.

This fondue pot is pretty neat. It feels sturdier than my previous pot, definitely heated up faster, and the ceramic was much easier to clean than stainless steel. Chipping was a concern of mine, but I've used it 4-5 times already and accidentally dropped a bottle of lambec in it, and surprise- no chipping. Definitely durable. It's a well made fondue pot, and I can see it lasting a few generations. I received this product for review.

Beautiful red, great fun, easy clean up

This fondue pot is a pleasant dark red, similar to the color of my kitchen. It heats quickly and is a dream to clean. I used it with chocolate, to dip strawberries and with cheese, to dip vegetables and chips. I loved it!

I really like this fondue pot. The only downfalls are the temperature and washing method. There is no happy medium between warm and the lowest setting. It also surges warm to cool instead of holding a constant temperature. Washing the pot is also tedious with the electric port. Other than those two items, it's wonderful!

Overall the fondue pot works well and worth the price. The pot heated quickly and was perfect for my parties. My only complaint would be the short power cord and not being able to use it on the dinner table. Washing it is also an issue with the port being close to water.

Easy to Clean, and Versatile

The fondue pot works well and does a good on of keeping your cheese or chocolate warm, however, its a bit touch and go as to if your sauce will get to hot or not hot enough on the warm feature. Cheese in ours tended to get a bit thick and not very sauce like if we had the a/c running in the house. We would turn the fondue pot to 200 degrees but then it would bubble and boil so that's not exactly ideal. It was hard to keep it liquid enough and warm to really enjoy the dipping part of having fondue if the house is cool. As far as cleaning goes this was very easy to keep clean. I like the ceramic inside the actual pot as it would easily wipe clean. We sautéed onions in the pot on the 350 degree setting and it worked so well that this has been useful as more than just a fondue pot. After several uses with a very exuberant toddler we don't have any scratchesto the inside of the pot yet so the ceramic coating holds up well. The power cord is a bit short so use of this in a table setting means you need an extension cord. I like that the plug is magnetic allowing for it to pull away prior to spilling hot cheese everywhere. Overall a solid product that has a few uses and cleans easily.
