Super lightweight. Super easy to clean. Super YUM!

I love this fondue pot! The thermometer is easy to use, and it's great because you don't have to sit there and worry about it burning. It's the perfect size for a party, although I recommend getting two: one for cheese and one for chocolate for parties! The recipe book came with some incredible recipes and I normally look over things like that and go online for recipes. Definitely read this one! I was surprised at how light weight it is. The non-stick feature made it super easy to clean. No complaints here whatsoever. We love this fondue pot! I received this fondue pot as a sample to review.

Very useful when making cake pops

It can hold big chunks of chocolate bars and melt it at the same time. There is an option to keep it warm if you are going to use it for a longer time. It's also nice to use it if you are making cake pops or any dessert for that matter that needs chocolate coating. What I like about it is that it includes dipping sticks that makes it perfect for entertainment. Therefore I don't need to buy a set of it. Also, the cable can easily be removed if you need to put it away or place it in the center of the table, although I find it the cable too short. The bowl is made of non-stick material so it's easy to clean. It has 2 ear (handles) to make it easier to transport. Overall, I like how it looks and the silver / chrome finish fits most of my kitchen stuff. I received the sample in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

Great for parties!

I used this once with oil and twice with cheese. Having used non-electric fondue pots for 40 years, I was intrigued. One nice thing was that it came with the forks and I didn't have to dig mine out. I'm rating this a 3 because I found it cumbersome and a little gauche to have something plugged in on the dinner table. It didn't have the feel fondue eating Has with the flame underneath. I may have had high expectations. That said, it will probably be great at things like school events as it's safer with no flame, like a crockpot. What would be great is a COVER Lille a crockpot. Easy to use but easy to forget about while plugged in. Cleaning was still a pain. Great for parties. Cord a bit cumbersome.

I tested this Fondue Pot about a month ago. Worked well, but I thought Fondue Pots died in the 1970's.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor design

Because the pot is not separate from the heating element, it is a pain to clean. In fact, if your contents spill over the side of the pot, there are sections that you could not reach to clean. In addition, the thermostat seems faulty. When I added liquid at 250, the liquid was boiling. I made queso in the pot and I had to keep the temp so low that the cheese did not melt to the desired level. When I turned it higher, it scorched the queso. A lid would have also been a good idea.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fantastic fondue pot!

This is my first electric fondue pot and I absolutely love it! It comes with 8 different colored forks, which is super handy for groups of friends and family. It also has a temperature control, which does include he temperature and some labels of "chocolate," "cheese," "protein/cook," and "warm." I tried it out by melting chocolate first, then caramel, which melted both evenly and very quickly - I didn't have enough time to open up the foods I was going to be dipping before it had begun melting. I was shocked how quickly it worked and needed to cool it down while I opened and finished gathering what I needed. I was concerned how clean up would be with this. This was super easy to clean! No scrubbing problems or issues at all. This pot is more wide than tall too, which is my only complaint. It is roughly two inches tall, but that really is big enough for most things. I loved using this and look forward to making more tasty treats with it! I did receive this product as a sample to review, but I would actually buy this over other fondue pots.

This fondue pot is just right for those of you that enjoy hosting fondue parties. Heats fine, works well. It will make your next get together even more exciting. I did receive this product as a sample but would purchase it probably as a Christmas gift for someone else.

Easy clean

This was the first fondue pot that I tried to use at home. The results came out very well for the times that we tried the pot. Instructions came with several recipes to try. We tried the tempura mix and melted some chocolate for our first couple tries. The ceramic nonstick was very easy to clean. Pros about this pot are: the pot had a great nonstick surface, heated quickly and very easy to set up. Cons about this pot: The cord was pretty short and there was no lid which should be nice for putting leftovers in the refrigerator. I received this product as a sample to review.
