It ain't happening!

I bought these awhile back and to be honest, they are worthless for vacuum sealing. Like other reviewers here, it seems to be OK, then at the 4th LED, it just keeps going. NOT cool! Now as a regular storage container, it's great. But I didn't buy these for that purpose. I should have used the money I wasted on these and bought more bags. Now those ALWAYS work!

Don't hold up

We are big fans of FoodSaver and have purchased several of these sets but only because of the ptice. The flap on the lids do not hold up after only a few uses. The retangular similar containers are better.

I am very disappointed in this product. The concept is great but the value of using the food saver to withdraw air from the deli containers does not leave a very satisfying feeling. You are better off getting the bags. I would not recommend this product until they find a way to let the user know that the aire is out of the container and that it in fact works. The other issue I have is that it does not work with the standard food saver group, yet another item to get or use for one item? Doesn't waste the money on this until version 2 is available.

Bought the deli food savers and can not get the vacuum seal to work 90% of the time. I went through all of the trouble shooting, cleaned the seal of any debris etc..and it still does not want to vacuum seal. Even assumed it was operator error but my husband can not get it to work most of the time. It's a hassle spending 10 + tries to get the seal to take.
I don't think I would purchase this particular type of lid again.

I've had my 3 containers and the special ends to vacuum seal it for a year now. I also bought the Hand held sealer. The only way I can seal my lunch meats, is in the Bags!! These do not work at all! And yes, I did use the regular Sealer Machine as well. #2 there is no way to tell if it"s sealed
anyway. But, I used a bag inside one and put the vacuum on it and nothing
happened. It did not MOVE. It did not draw enough air out to even sink the
bag down on itself. At all. As I said, it did not even move. However my other Food Saver products do work as they say they will.

I bought these containers a month ago to store sliced cheese, or meat. The container is long enough and wide enough but not tall enough with the ribbing in the lid that squashes just about everything I put in it unless its only 1/2 inch tall.
