For those having problems getting a seal....

Bought a bunch of these in different sizes and had a hard time getting them to seal. I found that once I ran the lid and the little plastic flap under water...made sure the all corners were pushed down until they clicked...I got a great seal. Only 4 stars cause they should let you know how to troubleshoot these units. Now that I know how, I love them!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great solution for refrigerated items

I absolutely love these containers. Besides left-overs, I've been using them to extend the life on items that I use a little at a time, like my basil and cilantro. Unlike a bag it doesn't damage leafy items and there's no issue re-sealing it multiple times, whereas with a bag you have to make is extra long so you can cut open and still reseal. I also used it on the guacamole I made and after 3 days it's still perfectly green.
My only complaint is that these containers do not stack well. The tops are slightly rounded and slip off each other easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have three sets of these containers and each performs exactly as expected---deli meats, cheeses, the occasional leftover all stay much fresher, much longer. I have had no issues whatsoever with regard to sealing problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Deli Saver is a winner!

The Deli Saver container is a little tricky to use. To get the sealing started, press down on the corners of the lid. Once you hear the timbre of the machine change, you can release.
Once I discovered the "secret" to sealing the Deli Saver, I use them all the time! Lunchmeats, sliced cheeses, even veggies are kept fresher ... longer!
I only wish there were similar containers available that were a bit deeper (for more flexibility in what can be stored in the container).
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have more of these than any other storage container, because I use these constantly! They stack well, seal easily, giving longer life to my cheeses, lunchmeats, hot dogs, and leftovers.

Deli container

I like these containers, but they are the same size as the lunch/leftover containers and are just not big enough for most of the cold cuts I buy.
I have to restack the cheese and there is either too much room on the end (American Cheese) or the cheese doesn't fit without bending it (Swiss/Havarti/etc.) and that ends up breaking it. You can't put a slice of ham, roast beef or turkey in without folding it either. I end up using the resealable vacuum bags instead.
I would rather have something about twice the width and half the depth. But for freshness of the items put inside, they can't be beat.

I love to buy bulk cold cuts and cheeses at Costco and this is the perfect storage container to allow me to cut and store the items for weeks without any sign of spoilage.

Perfect for keeping deli meats & cheese fresh

This product works great for what it's designed for...keeping a pound of deli meat or cheese fresh longer. Once the item is properly placed inside to fit, properly closed & properly sealed, it works properly to keep deli meats fresh much longer. I find these steps are worth taking to keep from tossing deli meats that spoil quickly, without such a product. Of course, you could use bags, but these much more easily washed & reused. Perfect item, if it takes you more than one use to use up deli meats.
I've been able to use for other appropriately sized or cut items, such as bulk butter & leftovers.
I have never been unable to get a seal with either the handheld or hose attachment on regular unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!
