I bought these to save my big lunch meat sale purchases. They work great, once I figured out how to get the vacuum to work. It is a great price for what you get. I only gave it 4 stars because they could be a little bit bigger. I vacuumed sealed most of the deli meat the way it is pictured, some of it I left in slabs. Things I love about these containers: the meat doesn't seem to "retain water", it's not dried out, but you don't have the excess water like you do when you leave it in the bag it came in, they fit in the deli meat drawer, I can buy more than 1 pound at a time, especially at a great sale price, and not have to use it or freeze it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought these last month, and work great for cold cuts. So far that's all I tried. Lunch meat and cheese lasted very well. Didn't make it to 2 weeks because I ate it all, but not a sign of spoiling or drying out. Thanks. Recommended.

works ok sometimes have to reopen and make sure lid is tight wish it had the vacuum button to show it is sealed.

Hard to figure the sealing out, the seal doesn't look like the picture at all. I expected it to cave in and it just dimples when it seals. Once sealed tho, they work fine. I wish they were just a little taller, I had to separate a 16 ounce package of ham into two containers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
