Very convenient.

This work for me, much better than the resealable bags, especially for deli items that are opened and resealed a lot!

I RECEIVED TWO CONTAINER AND THEY KEEP MY DELI FOOD VERY FRESH AND IT IS EASY TO USE.
BUT I ALSO USED THE DELI CONTAINER FOR MY FRESH HERBS AND THEY LAST SO LONG
I would recommend this to a friend!

don't work regularly

I have 4 of these. I bought the first 2 about 2 years ago, and forgot I had them or I would not have ordered these. Out of the 4, only one of them will shut good enough to be able to vaccum. The others have nothing wrong with them as far as I can see, they were not dirty, only been rinsed in hot water, then air dried, but the lids won't click on - put the lid on, pick the container up and the lids falls off. Even after vaccumming.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

FoodSaver saved my food

I am a big fan of the containers, possibly even more so than the bags. This is because we are already heavy users of plastic containers for food storage, but FoodSaver takes it a step further by allowing us not just to store our food, but to keep it from spoiling.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Difficult to Seal

I purchased a set of the Deli Containers and I've been trying for hours to seal them. We read the instructions many times and even watched videos online. Our containers just will not seal and will not get that "dimple" for proof that it is vacuumed. We're surprised at how difficult it is. We're going to try using Mason Jars with the FoodSaver Mason Jar Lid. Does anyone know if my hand held Food Fresh device will work with the Mason Jar Lid? Thanks!

I hate to hear that you're having difficulties with the deli containers! Make sure there are no crumbs or food debris on the container lid or valve. Gaps or an improper seal can prevent the air from being removed. Also, make sure you're not overfilling the container base with food or liquid.
If you're not able to get the containers vacuum sealed, I want to have one of our FoodSaver specialists work with you over the phone to get to the bottom of this. Please give us a call at 1-877-777-8042. We're here for you Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm Eastern and Saturday, 9am-6pm Eastern.
The FreshSaver HandHeld vacuum sealer works with our Zipper bags and Deli containers, but is not compatible with the FoodSaver Jar Sealers.

Seals well - Cracks easily

I have used these only a few times. My wife dropped one from about counter height and the bottom part cracked. Had to throw it out. The crack allowed air leakage preventing vacuuming. The dish would benefit from being slightly deeper.

Lunch meat stays fresh without having to freeze.

I can buy enough deli meat to last 2 weeks without having to freeze portions of it to keep it fresh. No odors from other foods get into meat...or meat into frig items. They could be a little deeper. Over-all , a great item.
