I am a fan of all the current food saver containers, but this one is my least favorite. I don't eat deli meat, but do use this size for left overs that fit. It also has ridges on the bottom which will show up on your food if you fill it too full. It does keep food very well. Would like a lot of different sizes that all fit inside each other for easier storage.

Although I have used the deli containers for grated cheese, my favorite us is for salad and other fresh greens, such as spinach and kale. The greens keep longer and resist turning brown..

The deli storage containers work as advertised, and are large enough to hold a pound of deli meat. They stack perfectly, and clean easily. I Have Four and plan to order at least two more.

These are hard to close the first time you use them. You have to listen for the click......then they work so good. I bought all sizes because I like them so much. They stack great and help organize my fridge.

I love this, and really keeps food fresh. But it can sometimes be hard to vacuum seal. I wish it had the time of lid as the canisters. (If there was a way).
But get this product, you won't regret it

Have had some problem getting these containers to seal, especially the one that came with the sealer. HAve to make sure that all sealing surfaces are exception clean. Like bags better.

Response from foodsaver.comBy FoodSaver, Customer Care, May 18, 2015
We're happy to hear that the bags are working for you, but want you to be just as happy with your containers. When using FoodSaver Containers, we do advise that for best results you; a. place the item you wish to seal inside the container, leaving at least one inch between the contents and the top rim of the container, b. make sure the rim of the container and the lid are wiped free of all liquids, crumbs, etc. c. place the lid on the container and press firmly on all corners to ensure lid is sealed. If you continue to experience difficulty with your containers, please feel free to call our customer care team at 1-877-777-8042 for more help. We are here for you Monday-Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday 9am-6pm Eastern, and are always happy to help resolve your vacuuming woes.

We like to roast or smoke a piece of meat, eye roast, pork loin, venison. Put in the fridge overnight, slice thin on our slicer. Pack it up in 1 LB foodsaver bags and keep in the freezer until you need them for lunches. Beats paying deli prices!
